Thermal springs tours in Peru |
|
Peru is the most extreme country in the world.
It boasts the world’s highest tropical mountains, the
world’s driest desert, the world’s most biologically
diverse rain forest, the world’s richest fishery and
the most extraordinary cultural and archaeological diversity.
As the result of the ongoing geologic tectonic activity of the
Nazca and South American plates, Peru harbors over 400 thermal sources
along the Andes that can reach temperatures of up to 89C.
One of Peru's best-known hot springs, the Inca Baths, located just
6 km from the City of Cajamarca (located in the Northern Andes at
2700 meters above the sea level). In this city the healing properties
of these thermal waters were already enjoyed by the Incas from ancient
times.
InkaNatura Travel invites you to explore “The Inca route:
from Cajamarca’s thermal waters to Machu Picchu “. On
this journey you will discover the beauty of Cajamarca with its
colonial buildings, beautiful Andean scenery and pre-Inca tombs,
as well as enjoy the thermal waters in the incredible outdoor pools
or the privacy of your room at the charming Laguna Seca Hotel.
InkaNatura Travel can arrange interesting tour programs with accommodation
at La Laguna Seca Hotel for those interested to combine an archaeological
and cultural encounter with the benefits of the thermal waters,
where temperatures range from 67-76°C.
