Testimonials about our service

Not really knowing who to send this to I opted for the address on the website in the hope that you would know who to send it on to.

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to Inka Natura for being one of the best travel company/ tour poerator I have ever travelled with. From the beginning claudia in Lima handled our booking proessionally and with great enthusiasm. Nothing was too much trouble and she answered our (numerous) questions and concerns with detail and a great deal of thought, as well as sense of humour.

Once we arrived in cusco we were treated like royalty. David, our guide for the Inka Trail was amazing, his knowledge and expertise in EVERYTHING seemed boundless and his enthusiasm and love for what he did was evident. the rest of the team - cook (Sixto), head porter (Alex) and his team where nothing but cheerful and accomodating, even when they must have been exhausted.

On to Manu trip where we did a 6 night, 7 day trip. Once again we were blown away by the customer service. William (our guide) was boundlessly cheerful, even at 4am and seemed to have friends everywhere we went. Once again his knowledge was extensive and his love of the amazon and all it contains was immeadiatley evident.

My husband and I expereinced the trip of a life time and it is unlikely that anything will ever live up to this one. a great part of that was down to Inka Natura and the wonderful people and personalities involved (not to mention the delicious food).

All I can say is thank you and that we will unreservedly recommend you to anyone who will listen!!!

Regards
Karyn Mullins

Hi Carmen,

My trip to the Wildlife Centre was by far one of the best experiences that I have ever had, in my life!!

Jose Antonio, our guide, was amazing. I saw such an incredible array of animals that my eyes couldn’t take them all in, and I’ve arrived home with memories that will last a lifetime.

I will certainly recommend Manu Wildlife Centre and Inka Natura to anyone who comes my way.

Many thanks to you for all of your help in making my trip a possibility. Your help is most appreciated.

Kind regards,

Danielle.

Hola Ruby,

We had an absolutely amazing time in Peru! Inkanatura is top notch and we would definitely recommended them to everyone.

Our guide on the Inca Trail was Lobo (his nickname). We exchanged information with him on the last day but we lost the piece of paper with his full name and email address. Could you please email us his full name and email address. He works out of the Cusco office. We would really like to thank him again for the wonderful time we had on the Inca Trail.

Muchas Gracias,

Hola Claudia,

Denise Talabach and I loved our time in Peru. I wonder if you can forward these pictures to Maria Melendez in Cusco, who was wonderful. There are some good pictures of Omar Aragon, our wonderful guide, and our porters. Omar said that if we sent him pictures of Femi, our Nigerian fellow traveler, with the local women who adored him, he would take those pictures to those women on another trip.
So here they are - really hope you can get these pictures to Maria and on to Omar.

Thanks! We would recommend Inkanatura to anyone and I am already interested in the lodge to lodge trip for another year.

All best, June Tooley

Hi Claudia,

Thanks for recommending the Inca Discovery tour. We had an amazing trip that we will never forget. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated having David Palomino as our Guide. We felt completely safe, as he was always looking out for our well being for the entire trip. He arranged the trip beautifully so that we could have the best experience possible: reserving the best campsites, scheduling our meals to match our pace, timing our hike so that we could view the Temple of Water with no one else around, and many other thoughtful touches. He encouraged us when we were tired and always congratulated us on our accomplishments. His knowledge of nature and history were impeccable; we learned so much from him. Just as importantly, his respect for the environment and the local culture was always apparent and his perspective enhanced our appreciation of both. The fact that he spoke Quechua gave our experience a level of authenticity that we had not anticipated and made us even more grateful for his presence.

We also wanted to tell you that the Porters were wonderful. Aquilino is not just a cook but a gifted chef. The fact that he could create such amazing dishes on a camping trip is astonishing. We ate better on the trail than we did in Cusco. Juliano did a superb job as Head Porter and was so attentive to our needs. We have never been treated so well or felt so pampered. All of the Porters were kind, respectful, and helpful and we have great appreciation for the work that they do. They made it possible for us to have a trip of a lifetime.

Also thank you for recommending the Manu Biosphere Tour. We're so glad we chose it because we would not have wanted to miss any part of our experience. We also wanted you to know how fortunate we were to have Fiorella as our Guide. She taught us so much about the plants, animals, and people of the Manu area. She was always tuned in to our surroundings and responded with genuine enthusiasm when spotting an animal, whether it be a toucan, a night monkey, or a snake. She went out of her way to give us the best possible opportunities to view the wildlife. For example, she found out that another guide has seen a tapir at the clay lick at 5:00 the previous evening. She got us there by 4:30, minutes before the tapir arrived! She let us borrow a pair of her binoculars, took video of parrots and macaws through her scope, and even helped us learn to use our new camera. She was easy to communicate with and was very attentive in accommodating our interests. Because Fiorella made it such a positive experience for us, we will definitely recommend your Biosphere tour to all our friends.

Thanks again for your services and rest assured that we will be recommending your agency to our friends.

Best Wishes,

Tish Smith and Cari Anderson

Dear Claudia,

My cousin and I have both returned safely, and we both agree that this trip to Cusco and to Machu Picchu was a trip of a lifetime.

We owe our incredible experience to Inkantura travel and it's excellent staff. I can honestly say that In all of my travels, I have never once had greater service or personal attention.
You are all very amazing and we left feeling like we made some good friends in Peru.

Claudia, you went above and beyond to secure our plans, taking care to oversee our trip and making sure we had everything arranged properly. We truly felt as if you were there every step of the way— from arrival to departure at the aiport.

It was so reassuring to meet Milagros in Cusco, and her personal attention to us was first class. She handled our hotel check in, explained our plans, and even gave us her cell phone number to use at anytime if we needed. This is not to mention her last minute booking of our tour in Lima. Romulo took the most excellent care of us on our way to and from Machu Picchu. I am pretty sure that without him, we'd have been stuck in the construction at Ollantaytambo and would not have arrived to the train on time. Amazing. Did I mention Sonya and Sophia, (sorry for the shortened names,) were wonderful, knowledgable tour guides? (And great company!).

I would highly reccomend Inkantura to anyone, and I personally won't plan another trip to Peru without you. I am already scouring your website to see what I will book for next year!
(There is so much to see and do in Peru!)

Thank you, so very much, for everything.
Viva El Peru!

Very Sincerely,

Tracy Busshart

Hi Claudia,

We have all arrived safely back to Canada and I wanted to say that we absolutely loved Peru. Thankyou you for the delicious chocolates!!! All the girls were impressed with Inkanatura. When we were in El Chaco, I forgot my charger for my camera at the hotel. The people from the hotel phoned our driver and they sent it by taxi to Pisco.. Our driver was excellent and very accomodatiing. The food at the hotel and on the beach (seafood soup) was amazing.
Machu Picchu was more spectacular in person than I could have imagined. Our guide Juan Carlos was alot of fun and very informative about the vegetation. Please thank him and let him know that Christina finally got her ocean view at La Rosa Nautica. He recommended this restaurant in Lima and we had the best cerviche ever!!!
The jungle....what can I say...William was fabulous and knowledgeable about all the animal life and plant life. We saw 5 species of monkeys and more wildlife than we thought we would. The lodge is beautiful and again the food was fabulous.
As you can see, we really enjoyed our time in Peru. Lake Titikaka was very interesting and so was staying with a family but Puno was my least favorite city.
We loved Cusco and found the restaurant Jacks and bought the same coffee and chocolate that they use at the restaurant.

We also loved Lima...found the Larmar mall on the ocean and managed to buy some fabulous skinny jeans. Thank you for everything ...we LOVED Perur.

take care,

brenda

Hello Claudia,

I wanted to say thank you on behalf of our travelling company - our trip was smooth and well organized, and we really enjoyed it.

In particular I wanted to say that Milagros (Patino ?) from the Cuzco office was extremely helpful and professional - the schedule was very tight with all the trips and flights to/from Cuzco, and Milagros made all the arrangements very effectively, including even Internet check-in to the internal flight.

Also we enjoyed Shila's tours in Lima a lot, she is a "pro" and we learned many new things about your exciting country!

Dear Carmen,

I just wanted to write you to let you know how much I enjoyed my recent trip with InkaNatura. I went on the 4day Heath River trip with a friend and we were so glad to have booked this trip. The remote location of the lodge is fantastic and the program was even better than we had hoped for. We especially appreciated the personalized service and interaction with the guide (Paul), who gave us complete freedom to pick whichever activities we were interested in. At every meal, he would tell us about our options, answered questions about each and then left it up to us to decide what we wanted to do, he was fine with whatever we chose, even if it meant getting up real early or hiking 12km - it was just amazing because we did so much. On top of the service he provided, he had a wealth of knowledge, was easy to understand, entertaining and had some very impressive skills - it was fun to watch a pro show us how to catch piranha or open a brazil nut in a matter of seconds. Altogether, the lodge, the staff, the program and our guide Paul made this a superb trip that, as I mentioned, by far exceeded our expectation and was worth every penny we paid for it.

Thank you so much for operating these great tours. I will be sure to write something along these lines on TripAdvisor :-)

Dirk

Dear Carmen Maria,

We booked the trip for my parents in law which don`t speak a word spanish. The trip was professionally organized and my parents in law enjoyed the trip very much. The hotels, the local food and the transportation were perfect. Your German speaking tour guide was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and with perfect German speaking skills.

My father in law had a health problem and you helped him to get all the necessary help and the communication with the local health provided. In addition you kept me up to date via email regarding the situation. Thank you very much for your outstanding service.

I will recommend your professional and friendly services to my friends and I would not hesitate to consider your service for my next trip to Peru.

Thank you very much.

We'll be recommending Sandoval Lake Lodge to all of our friends and family and hope to come back to visit again soon.

Hi Claudia,

I just came back from my most invigorating and enriching vacation and it was all made possible by Inkanatura Travel. The first part of our journey was spent at Sandoval Lodge. Even the hike into the rainforest was exciting - add to that early morning boat rides to see river otters, late night excursions to see black caimans, and mid-afternoon hikes to see parrots, butterflies and scorpions. But there was also time to lounge in the hammocks and eat great food. Our guide, Leon, was very knowledgeable and kind.

We then flew to Cusco where we were met at the airport by an Inkanatura representative who gathered our luggage and had a driver to take us to our hotel. She got us checked in and then told us all about the city - what sites to explore, restaurants to visit and tours to take. When we decided to visit the Sacred Valley, she made all the arrangements.

The next part of the adventure was to hike the Inca Trail. We chose the four day/three night Classic Inca Trail which provided a more leisurely hike and more time to explore. Our guide, Lobo, met with us the night before leaving and prepared us for the hike by explaining what each day would involve. The tents and sleeping bags provided by Inkanatura were immaculate and comfortable. We had our own toilet tent and it was meticulously maintained. Our meals in the dining tent rivaled a four-star restaurant. There's no doubt that the hike was difficult especially so because we were four women over fifty. But what made it so rewarding was that at the end of each day's hike, when we finally made it into camp, our porters lined up and cheered us in!

Our guide, Lobo, was patient and encouraging and made us laugh. He knew the best places to take pictures and shared a wealth of knowledge about the Incan Empire.

We took the Vistadome train back to Cusco where we were once again met at the train station by a representative of Inkanatura who got us to our hotel and then returned the next day to take us back to the airport. She stayed with us to make sure everything was in order.

I would highly recommend Inkanatura Travel to handle all your arrangements in Peru.

Thanks,
Denyse Bieg

As seven girls listened eagerly to their guide at the Sun Gate, they knew a Bucket List item lay just around the corner. After 4 days of hiking, we were finally going to be able to set our eyes upon Machu Picchu! When we climbed the steps and looked into the valley, we all cried. Not only was it a breathtaking moment, but it culminated a wonderful journey.

InkaNatura is solely responsible for the incredible experience of the Inca Trail. The service was so much more impressive than we even dreamed when we booked the trip! We were fed better on the 4-day hike than we are at home! Our porters were so friendly, professional, encouraging, fun, and amazing! We all agreed, we never want to go hiking and/or camping again without our great guys! Thank you so much, Fellas!

We saw so many beautiful sites, amazing ruins, and learned so much en route to Machu Picchu, by Day 2 we already whispered amongst each other that we'd be completely content with the trip even if we never reached Machu Picchu. THAT'S how well InkaNatura took care of us and made us feel!

A special and heartfelt THANK YOU goes to our wonderful guide, Juan Carlos. Your knowledge, your caring, your professionalism, and your personality MADE our experience. You felt like a big brother right from the start - you made us feel safe, you really looked out after us, you knew EVERYTHING, and we bragged about you to everyone! We feel blessed that we were paired up with YOU as our guide. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again for everything!!

InkaNatura, you have an absolutely outstanding service going on - I'm recommending your company to anyone and everyone! Thank you for giving me and six of my friends an experience that will forever be engraved in our memories and heart.

-Stephanie

Inka Natura and our agent Sandra,

Let me start by saying how wonderful an experience my girlfriend and I had in Peru. A very exciting, diverse and beautiful country. We did not know what to expect when boarded our plane in route to Peru. We knew 3 days deep in the Amazon and 4 days in the highlands of Cusco and a day on each end in the beach city of Lima.
What we didn't know was what laid ahead. We were so glad we picked a reputable company like Inka Natura and lucky enough to have a knowledgeable agent like Sandra. We were so impressed that every moment of our trip was as described in our intinerey that we put together months in advance. From the transports from the airport to hotel back to the airport, and the excursions that we planned like River Rafting, a train ride to Machu Picchu and our 3 day adventure in the Amazon at the Heath River Eco Lodge.
It was all perfect, never a doubt of who would be taking care of us, and they were always on time waiting for us. In the Amazon we fished for, caught and ate Piranha, saw the Machaw parrot clay licks, took motorized canoe rides past families of Camins, took many hikes with our wonderful and professional guide Paul.

The lodge at Heath River was great, the staff, the food, and the rooms were much better than we would have ever expected.
In Cusco, after many Coco teas and adjusting to the altitude (approx. 12-18 hours) we went river rafting under snow capped peaks of the Andes.

Took tours of the scared valley of the Inkas, ate at many Peruivan restaurants and drank even more Cusquena's (beer of Cusco region), Pisco sours and meet many of friendly locals. Our experience was even more memorable when I proposed to my girlfriend Nicole at the lost city of Machu Picchu on our 2nd to last day in Peru. How could she say NO? Machu Picchu was the pinnacle of the trip. Indescribable by words or photos, you must see it in person to believe it's beauty, mystery, and size......What a trip!!!

I would recommend Peru to everyone and anyone who is thinking about going should contact Inka Natura for help with all the planning and booking of flights, hotels, tours, etc. We will definitely be contacting them on our next trip to South America. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Sandra and Inka Natura. Peru will always hold a special place in our memories and heart.

P.S. We get married on May 15, 2010 in our home town of Paso Robles, CA!!!

Talk with you soon,

Nicole & Donovan

Saludos cordiales.
Belén

Dear Carolina, I would like to give you some feed back of our trip.

We were very happy with your work. Everything was nice. Maria was very, very helpful. And it was an amazing experience to be in Inka trail. The Casa Andina group are very good. In Casa Andina Catedral and Casa Andina Private in Puno everything was OK, and of course the private collection is really nice, with an excellent restaurant (we had a chance to taste the peruvian wine, which was a very good surprise. The people from the agency in Puno were nice, but confused - and we almost could have been late at the airport because the driver was late. Manly I would like to say thank you to encourage us to go to Inkaterra in Aguas Callientes, it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed.

I also would like to say that the porters are very nice, and we are very grateful to them and for their work.

So, we strong recommend anybody to travel with you.

Thank you very much.

Dear Claudia - we just returned from our vacation and I have to say it was incredible!! Even better than I had imagined. All of the accommodations were wonderful, especially the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel ... simply stunning and the perfect retreat after the Inca Trail!

It was so comforting to meet Milagros when we arrived in Cusco, she took excellent care of us throughout our stay. Our service on the Inca Trail was spectacular! Juan was the perfect guide - full of energy, knowledgeable, impeccable English and fun. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience, adjusting the itinerary/campsites as necessary to meet my groups needs. Our chef, Akai, created the most spectacular meals - I was in awe of the food we ate while on trail. Additionally, everyone from the waiters to the porters was so gracious. I could see first-hand that the porters were treated very well which made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Inka Natura truly gave us the trip of a lifetime. Everything was very organized and all the staff wonderful. I cannot begin to thank you enough for your assistance in creating this very special vacation. I look forward to referring more clients in the future.

All the best,

Amanda

p.s. the only confusing part of the trip was our airline tickets when we first got to Lima. On our itinerary there was no mention of what airline to use for our flight from Lima to Cusco. We figured it out but, that was the only instance where we were not sure what to do.
Otherwise, I have to say this trip was perfect ... I was very impressed and look forward to hopefully booking another trip with Inka Natura.

I also liked having Mila with us at the airport in Cusco until we were checked in to our flight home on the last day. We had a close call making it to our flight! It all worked out. I would be glad to serve as a reference if you need one. thanks again for a wonderful trip plan, it was worth every sole! Omar was top notch, his knowledge and passion for the culture were exceptional.

Dear Claudia

I'm back in the UK now, and at last have time to sort out emails etc.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my 4-day stay at Sandoval Lodge. The whole trip was very well-organised; my guide (Josilu) was brilliant - both knowledgeable and good company; the food was very good indeed, amongst the best I had in the country; and the setting of the lodge was of course utterly magical. Altogether it was one of the highlights of my 6-week tour of Peru and Bolivia.

And thanks to you also, for sorting it all out!

best wishes

Bill Scolding
